1) There is version of Skype for Linux.

2) For Paltalk just login to the website: http://express.paltalk.com/
It's a Java version which works on Linux

3) Have you used a PACKAGE MANAGER to install wine???
Connect to the Internet, open a Terminal and issue the command: sudo apt-get install wine
