Did you try to run Update Manager with the -d option?

Step 1: Press Alt+F2
Step 2: Type (without the quotes) "update-manager -d" and then press Enter.

Lucid is no longer development (which is what -d denotes)

If the above command fails then run:

gksudo gedit /etc/update-manager/release-upgrade

and change:
Prompt=lts

to:
Prompt=normal

(if it isn't already)

Then run:

sudo apt-get install update-manager-core; sudo do-release-upgrade

Should be fine.

Thank you so much problem has been solved

Which fix fixed it?

Thanks actionparsnip, that solved my question.
