not reading memory card

I just installed ubuntu and now I cannot get my computer to recognise my SD memory card.

Open a terminal and type sudo fdisk -l while the SD mem card is plugged in, then copy the output of that command here.

what a fluke =D

ok run:

gksudo gedit /etc/modules

add the line:

tifm_7xx1

press enter on the end of it and save the file, this will make the module load at boot every time.
