How to get Evince read font

Asked by pia pakkala

Hi, yesterday asked about how to install a font in Ubuntu, now it seems to me I need to get Evince to read the font in question, ie. Andale WT, how can I do this? I need to get access to company reports and for security reasons they only come out in this font. Trying to read them now, the font missing, they're just blank.
Any good ideas for this one,,..tried copying the font, it won't paste. Tried renaming and dragging, won't do anything. Anybody smart, please..

Sorry about my confusing suggestions. Here's how to get it to work:

1. Go to the 'System' menu. Pick 'Preferences', then 'Font'.
2. Click the 'Details...' button in the window that appears.
3. Click 'Go to font folder'.

4. At this point a window will pop up that shows all the installed fonts. Drag TTF files into this window to install them. They may not appear right away, but they do get installed.

5. Log out, then log back in. Your fonts should be available.
