Printing

my Brother MFC-240C Printer/scanner/fax was connected when i changed from widows vista to Ubuntu however the printer will not work. So i connected my Lexmark z2300 but it would not work either. I get a message ' client-error-document-format-not-supported'. I do not know a thing about computers except to use them.

     I'm guessing your Brother printer was recognized, as was mine, when connected. It will still need the correct drivers installed. The MFC-240C is listed, but installation takes a few steps. Drivers and instructions are available from http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/index.html - let me/us know if you need more help than that.
