Im looking for a 3270 emulator for ubuntu, to connect to mainframe applications.

Hi,

There are two packages:

x3270 - X11 program for telnet sessions to IBM mainframes
c3270 - Curses program for telnet sessions to IBM mainframes

So X3270 is for your desktop environment and C3270 is for terminal based access.

You can install them using synaptic, software-center or apt-get install

Seems like you are a mainframe guy.Do you have any emulator to work in ubuntu.
