problema connessione wi-fi

inserisci la penna, aspetta il problema, riavvia senza penna, apri il terminale, scrivi cat /var/log/syslog e posta il risultato.

ho provato a disistallare ubuntu e mettere windows xp......il pc si spenge
anche con xp....cosa ne pensi ?....grazie

È un problema hardware come ti hanno già riferito.
Succede sia con il portatile alimentato a batteria che collegato solo con l'alimentatore?

non è un portatile...è un: Hp d530 d 530 intel pentium 4....ciao

Prova a mettere la chiavetta in un altra porta USB, magari non dello stesso blocco.
Voglio dire, se il computer ha porte USB sia davanti che dietro, mettila nel blocco opposto.

già provato...con nessun beneficio...(stesso problema!)

Ribadisco, è un problema hardware.
Probabilmente te lo fa solo con la chiavetta wireless perchè (forse) assorbe più potenza.
Sarà qualche contatto o parte difettosa.
Ovviamente vado a naso non avendo l'hardware sottomano.
Ti conviene chiudere questa discussione.
