Hi

Please let me know how to access my news-group in Ubuntu. Is there a good community documentation page for this?

Thanks and regards from
Tom

You have several options available to access News Groups with Ubuntu:

Mozilla Thunderbird as well as Seamonkey are both able to be configured to open Usenet News sources.

Pan Newsreader is a dedicated Usenet applications more suited to binary downloading then the Mozilla options.

There are several other newsreaders that I have not used including: KNode, Xpn Newsreader, LuserNET News Reader, tin, uqwk, trn, trn4, inn2, nn, slrnpull, slrn, knews, wl, cone, brag, there are also several plugins for emacs.

Using the Ubuntu Software Center and searching for news will show a more complete list.

Good luck and enjoy the news.
