You can find the explanation on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtualbox

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_machine

Virtualbox is an example of software that can run virtual machines.

A virtual machine (VM) is a software implementation of a machine (i.e. a computer) that executes programs like a physical machine.

Or you could try installing DOSBox in WIne. It was my favourite DOS emulator in Windows.

Virtual box is a software that allows you to make virtual machines where you can run a computer inside of a computer :) but essentially all the dos stuff that you might need is already present in ubuntu.

Can you help with this problem?
