How to activate Webcam on my ASUS Eee

I do not see where I can activate my webcam. Is there a download I need to have?

Hi! in order to operate your webcam you can use cheese[1], you'll find it in application->Ubuntu Software Center

[1] if you install ekiga, skype, or any other application that has webcam support it should work "out of the box"

Also, make sure the webcam is enabled in the EeePC bios. Sometimes (everytime?) installing a new OS such as Ubuntu (or even re-installing the EeePC original OS) disables the webcam in the bios.

As Federico says, the program Cheese works with the built in webcam on the EeePC.
