Trident graphic card problem: Resolution set to 800x600 instead of 1024x768 Ubuntu 10.10

Dear team,

i am using ubuntu 10.10 on a celeron 1333MHz laptop capable of 1024x768 pixels of resolution. However, i only get 800x600 of resolution. My graphic card is branded Trident. Please help me to resolve this problem. Thank you very much in advance! Dimos.
