Support for Unity 3D?

Hi -- I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 but my system defaults to Unity 2D. Is this a known limitation in this driver or the hardware it runs?

Depends on the video chip.... which you haven't told us

If it helps, the graphics card is a Trident CyberBlade XP4m32. Under System Details it's called VESA: Cyber 2100.

Trident Cyberblades will not do 3D accelleration under Linux. They give okay 2D acceleration though
