This bug has been dragging, not been visible to the right persons (filed on wrong package, lack of bug triaging), waiting for required additional information from the bug reporter, etc. And the r128 3D driver doesn't get much attention because not so many people use it, and there's not so much feedback to the developers. Good hardware support is depending on user involvement, since there's not an army of developers having all the necessary time and test hardware available.

However, this is a bug report and not a forum, so please let us take discussions somewhere else, so the actual technical information needed to sort out the bug does not get lost.
