How can I update to the latest nvidia driver 304.37?

Asked by Ravi Kumar on 2012-08-17

From this, http://news.softpedia.com/news/Nvidia-Releases-Massive-Update-for-Linux-286521.shtml it looks that nVidia 304.37 video driver is released. But I am still using 295.40 as displayed by nvidia-setting. Why there is no update provided by ubuntu?

Hi Ravi,

If I am correct your drivers should automatically update through Update software. Or you can run this command in terminal: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade.

If this helps you solve your question, please mark thread as solved.

Regards,
Miha
