Ubuntu 12.04 not Stable / Lagging, Freezing.

Dear uBuntu users,
I got a question.
My Ubuntu is lagging freezing all the time and if i want to startup things its takes slow. CPU is topping to

My Specs:
4GB Ram
2X3.0GHZ Proccesor.
GTS450 DDR5 1GB Videocard.

Can someone tell me how to fix this.
It's REALLY REALLY Annoying.

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep nvidia

Also, have you tried the Unity2D session which is selectable from the login menu.

What you recommend i want Dualboot should i do the automatich dual boot thing from Ubuntu or install with disk

You are still using the opensource drive despite having the proprietary driver installed. Sounds like a junky screen. Try:

sudo nvidia-xconfig

and reboot

Now is my screen very resulution very low..

run:

gksudo nvidia-settings

and set the res then click 'save to X config file'
