Monitor fuzzy and shows 3 ubuntu symbols

Asked by Anthony Robles on 2012-07-27

Using Ubuntu 12.04 on USB flash drive. Boots up after reboot normally but when I choose Try Ubuntu or Install Ubuntu the monitor starts getting fuzzy and glitchy. Also shows 3 Ubuntu logos like there is 3 monitors on one display.

Display: NVIDIA 7000m/nForce610M

PS: I wouldnt be able to install drivers from the actual Ubuntu OS. I have to click on the top-left side of the monitor to "click" the settings icon on the top-right corner...

Try the boot option:

nouveau.blacklist=1

it will work in a virtual system as the hardware is different. Some Nvidia GPUs with certain monitos do not like the nouveau driver.

Can you help with this problem?
