Been wanting to dump windows long time & if Optimus will work I will.

It will only work with bumblebee/optirun. Nvidia has no official plans to support Optimus on Linux, though there are some rumors of future support if licensing issues don't ruin it: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA0ODE
