start problem in Ubuntu in 11.10

Asked by RIZA BAYOGLU

When I start my laptop, sometimes it does not start. (only pink window is seen and never start).

However, if ı go recovery two times then it starts with no problem.

It usually happens after installing updates and upgrades.

Does any body know about this?

Also, sometimes when ı go recovery it does not start either. It shows some messages. I took picture of the window of that moment.
There was something I have noticed. It says If necessary, report a bug by typing "pci=use_crs". The picture is here :

I suggest you remove all those listed packages (except nvidia-common), then reboot and reinstall the driver. May help

These. The 2nd colomn are the package names, so:

sudo apt-get --purge remove nvidia-173 nvidia-current nvidia-current-updates nvidia-settings nvidia-settings-updates

Will do it.

Removing and reinstalling above packages did not work. I am sick of it.
Is not there another way to solve this problem?

thanks
