NVIDIA 6200

First it was everything OK, I installated an aditional driver, ok after reboot.

Then I updated the system and now every time I log in the screen resolution is ok but it slip.
When change the resolution then its ok.

What to do?

NVIDIA 6200 Ubuntu 10.10

Im new in linux, please help!

have you installed the hardware drivers ? i have nvidia 6150se and use 173 drivers .work fine.
after driver install set in nvidia x server and save .
 system = admin. = hardware drivers
 system = admin. = nvidia x server

I had an aditional driver that the system offer me, I changed it to 173 and I think its OK.

p,s how to add to panel the volume button, it disapered?!

Ok

But whit this driver I lose on screen quality, I try to set the refresh rate to 70, but it not solved my problem (whit the additional driver it was ok).
