i install ubuntun 10.10 after i update i dont have ubuntu screen splash

i install ubuntu 10.10 64 bits everything was ok until i install update nvidia drivers 3Dr,when it boot no splash screen just it said this "ubuntu 10.10 black screen not the logo..i want my logo..thank you.

The nvidia only loads later so you get no plymouth boot, you can use that (until the embedded video) to make it use the framebuffer driver which loads very fast.

hello i am a noob in this you have to take me by the hand, im a quake player quake 2 quake 3 quake 4 and now quakelive i dont have any problem with the video driver they nice i was using leopard 10.6 IN a HACKINTOSH :) and i didnt get my fps to 125 this operation system i love it. my games are nice,and nice stability in quakelive,i just want to see my logo ubuntu,there anything that i have to enable?what is framebuffer driver,and where is that or download.
