:D Nice! This Thread nearly solved my problem

http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Fix-the-Big-and-Ugly-Plymouth-Logo-in-Ubuntu-10-04-140810.shtml

The resolution do not fix 100% cause no i have a black vertical stripe on the right side
but now i know the procedure and will play around till it fits.

Thanks a lot for your help!

The fix i used let the screen look nearly like before the installation of the Nvidia driver
but anyway there's still a bug regarding Plymouth in combination with that driver so
in my mind this case isn't realy fixed. It would be nice to have a exactly the same look
of the Plymouth screen as before!
