Setting for gamma/color correction

Asked by Stefan K.

Is or will there be a slider or something for gamma correction in lucid?
As far as I remember, the nvidia driver itself can do this (of course).

I just want to mention that I now use "xgamma" from the "x11-xserver-utils" package. Maybe this helps other people having too bright/dark images. Just open a terminal, type "xgamma --help" and see what you need. If you're satisfied, put it into "starting programs" in "System -> Settings".
