the system hangs after logging

distribution ubuntu 9.10 beta

pc
dell optiplex gx270
      processor 2.8
      vga intel(R) 82865G graphics controler
      ram 512

the problem is when i boot the life CD the system always hangs after logging in..

i made several attempts finally i managed to boot normally after disabling ACPI and APCI from the liveCD boot menu

i made the install process and i restarted

then when i log in the system hangs again??

you may need to edit the installed system boot options to use the same boot options as you did for the liveCD

hello
i realized that the problem was in xorg-intel-video driver
i booted into the terminal and uninstalled it
and the distro is working now "no compiz offcourse"

so i think there is a bug which need to be corrected in the final version

i hope that you tell me what to do now and thank you very much for your help

i've installed all the updates (including the kernel 2.6.31-13) and if fixed the problem !
