The Intel drivers are in a default install.

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a

Thanks

You could use and xorg.conf to get a better performance but udev has identified the device and loaded the right driver. Those 82845G/GL intel chips are far from great and have issues with lockups if there are timing issues.

driver : unknown
so it doesnt matter?

drivers are installed already ( as output says) ,right?

and in 2d session speed is bit increased...
Thanks...

The 2D desktop doesn't need 3D acceleration from the video hardware and is great for system's that'd don't have the capacity for the full 3D session.
