Font becomes distorted, appears "interlaced".

Sometimes after switching back to my account from my wife's account, the font becomes unreadabled. It appears kind of "interlaced". I have a screen capture but it seems I can't upload it here...

My machine is an e-machines e 725.

I linked a bug, can you please check if that is the problem you are experiencing?

It might look different at first, but it's the same bug. I have seen a few instances of it lately and they all look a little different.
What they have in common is that the same characters in the same font, size and variant are always disorted the same way.
The bug is inked upwards (to the right developers) and there shold be a bugfix in future. You can follow the bug tracker entries if you like.
