to a 32" hdtv instead of a 22" hdtv

Asked by vineeth.h91

was trying to output to a 22" screen what it was outputting to a 32" tv.

I tried to use sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg to see if it would reset any saved configurations it had.

But to no avail.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Or what the problem really is?

If you run the displays app from dash and click the 'Detect displays' does it help?

Nope, that was the first thing I tried, it still detects it as a 32" screen!

Nevermind, I figured out what my problem was. Just ignore this. Thanks though! Apparently the problem was that I'm a dumbass.

my HDTV aspect option was set to "Zoom" instead of "Wide" >.> and I spend an entire day trying to figure out what was wrong with my graphics driver.
