intel graphics pls help if possible

Asked by Brutallini

Ok so, I`m a total noob in Ubuntu I`ve used Windows till now but I find it that Ubuntu is much faster and comfortable.

I have a problem thogh I have a Intel x3100 graphic card System Settings>Details says Graphics: Unknown

I tried to play Eternal lands and the most visual effects were off.

I also tryed installing all possible drivers( for Intel graphics) through Synaptic manager.

I tried to read all the sites I could find but it seems too hard to understand.

If someone can explain to me how do i make Ubuntu use my graphic card pls write.

ps. Im a user not a programmer maybe I should just go back to Widows because that seems just too hard for me....

Well what do you know now it actually knows that I have an intel graphics card.... verry strange because I`ve been trying for SOME time, must have done something by downloading all possible things with intel in the name... sorry to have wasted your time.
