Compiz/Open GL 11.04

Asked by Heath

I wanted to try the "3d Compiz"...later to learn that it crashes..ect. When removing Comiz & Open GL compiz...unity seems to disappear. I had to login in to "classic" and reinstall Compiz & Open GL compiz..and Unity. Do I need these 2 programs to run Unity?
