intel graphics issue

Managed to install 11.10 via wubi but still experiencing problems mainly with the graphics card. To install i had to use graphic safe mode and now every time i reboot i have to reboot and keep my finger on the ‘SHIFT’ key until i get the grub menu. Highlight the first entry, press ‘e’ to edit, and replace quiet splash with nomodeset. Hit ‘CTRL+X’ to continue booting. Otherwise it just boots to a black screen. Anyone got any idea as to how i can fix this ?
