Xserver freezes for a moment

My xserver stop updating the screne for a moment with kernel 2.6.38. If I wait some time (4-6 seconds) the screen will be updated or if I change focus from the current windows to another. Has anyone had similar problems? If I use older kernel (2.6.32) this does not happens.

I have dell laptop with Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 graphics card.

I just run the memtest and it passed without errors. And as older kernel is working fine I doubt that it would be memory error.

If it doesn't happen in an older kernel then it sounds like a bug with the new kernel. I suggest you log a bug
