Black screen after installation-once again

Asked by mahmoud

I have just installed 10.10 on Hp Compaq d5305 system, using the USB stick. Installation went smooth with nice graphics representation. Then , when booted I ended up having the black screen.

I tried changing Grub's "quite splash", into nomodeselect, and ended up into a text mode.
I tried other options with "quite splash" such as neauveau.blacklist=1, and none worked.

Booting from USB can take me somewhere further all the way to the complete booting, but from there system freezes. Most of the time however, I also ended up getting some flickering screen and then blank.

Please help

Boot on USB stick, choose "Try", open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and report result of command:
   lshw -C display
This will give the video chip.
