Iintel graphic flikering after upgrading 11.04

I have moved from 10.10 to 11.04, After login the screen get blank and not even menus on the desktop. when i move mouse it flikers and show the menus on. I think the graphic driver is not working properly.

The chipset is intel 865Gbf how do i fix and get the intel extream graphic work on the version 11.04

Try adding the boot option:

nomodeset
