Acer Aspire One D255 Video Issue

Asked by Matt

I just bought an Acer Aspire One D255. I had a Dell laptop with Ubuntu 10.04 on it. I took the larger hard drive from the Dell and installed it into the Acer and then updated to 10.10. It works beautifully except for the video. The resolution seems fine but I can't use anything with OpenGL or apply any "Visual Effects". When I try it says its looking for a video driver but never finds one. I have searched all over for an Ubuntu video driver with no success. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
