Why would you need Nvidia drivers on an Intel graphics chipset?

Remove the Nvidia drivers by searching in Synaptic Package Manager.

If they are already been removed, try to reconfigure your graphics by

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Reboot and see if that makes a difference.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Lauwie for more information if necessary.
