What should I do with xserver-xorg-video-intel in maverick? (dependency problem)

Asked by Cima

I upgraded to maverick from lucid, I am using an Intel integrated graphics card, and it works just fine. Anyway, there seems to be some dependency problems: if I would upgrade xorg, then I would have to remove xserver-xorg-video-intel. Now, since everything works fine, I don't want to remove the driver, is that just a bug in the dependencies, or should I try the upgrade? I don't want to risk any problem with the video card, after the pains I had with Lucid.
Thanks

I use an intel video chip in my crappy laptop and I haven't had this issue so you must have added a 3rd party repository. Does Xorg edgers sound familiar to you?

It seems that, for some reason, the old intel driver from Lucid was "forgotten" during the installation. I removed it and reinstalled it from Maverick repositories, it seems that now everything is fine!
