Asked by Hacknslash

After upgrade to Ubuntu Mate 16:04 the Radeon driver cannot run two Dell 24" monitors.

Clicking System > Preferences > Hardware > Displays > Untick Same image on both monitors.

I expected my desktop area to expand to two monitors wide, as all previous versions of Ubuntu and Ubuntu Mate have done.

However this time the desktop screen flashed on and off multiple times. There was no way out of this madness, so the computer was powered off. I have retried this multiple times with the same result.

Please advise what commands you'd like run or config files youd like, I'll email them to you or add them to this bug report.

Many thanks

Yes, all those people have the same problem as me, so it looks like my
"upgrade" from 15:10 to 16:04 is really a "downgrade" / Scrap your pc. Well
obviously my time with Ubuntu has come to an end.

What OS shall i install now
