Hello.
I have got a notebook with two ATI graphic cards and Ubuntu 12.10 installed, so I can not install ATI driver correctly (wrong resolution, disabled composite managers, x-server falls and etc.). Aticonfig utility does not help. I have read that Catalyst Control Center can not work fine with Ubuntu 12.10. Whatever...it is ATI driver.
So here is the question:
Is there any hope for hybrid graphics support in Ubuntu 13.04 or in any free driver's update?

Hybrid graphics has always been an issue with Linux and best avoided.

As 13.04 is still in development we don't yet know for sure what all the features will be.

Yeah, I know about vga_switcheroo, but there's a "funny" situation - DIS/DDIS doesn't switch my card to powerful.
If it's DIS - x-server falls fully, restart doesn't help, if it's DDIS - just nothing happens after reboot (or restart x), first card is still activated, and second (powerful) just takes energy and nothing else.
I can only turn powerful card off for better battery saving, but it's not what I need =(

Samsung R425-JU02. Someone, please write if you've made that cards work fine with Linux in this notebook.
