ubuntu error with ATI graphics card?

Asked by kevin

ubuntu doesnt seem to recognize my computer screen. i currently have two screens plugged in. A 17-inch and a 23 inch. Before installing the video driver ubuntu could recognize both screens but after installing the drivers it doesnt recognize them. Instead its saying that i have a "laptop" and a "17 inch" screen. This is very puzzling can anyone help me with this?

Did you make your system youorself or did you go to somewhere like Dell and buy a named system

Nothing to do with Linux so far, at all..

Can you help with this problem?
