Boot Bands

Hi everyone !

I'm trying to install kubuuntu/ubuntu on my asus p8p67 pro rev3.1/Sapphire Radeon 9600 with unetbootin but at each time, after install, grub works but ubuntu not : there is some colored bands at the top of my screen...blue for kubuntu & purple for ubuntu and there is no more progression...

Anyone knows the solution ??

EDIT: on ubuntu/kubuntu 11.10 by the way

What video chip do you use?
Does the system have a make and model?

my video chip is...on my asus p8p67 pro rev 3.1 ... My graphic card is a sapphire ati radeon 9600 and my system turn on win7 shine v2 ed. (ultimate 64b)...I made my pc myself and it's turn great on win 7 64b...what's happen with ubu ??

try the boot option:

nomodeset
