screen pixilates sometimes

Asked by Cheryl

The screen will pixilate and make words impossible to read. It happens mostly when looking at merchandise sites on the internet. I would like to reinstall the video driver, but don't know how to begin. I am completely new to Ubuntu and am not too computer savvy. Thank you.

Before you use that post tell me what video card you have and what version of Ubuntu you are running to find out what video card you are running to find out search for terminal (konsole in kubuntu) and type lspci in the box and then look for an option that looks like this VGA compatible controller. Please respond with this information before you follow the FAQ above. Thank You.
