multiple display does not work

Hello.

I have an ATI RADEON graphics adapter and 2 monitors (one full HD connected vie HDMI and one HDready via VGA cable).

I can't get them to work in Extended Desktop mode.

I tried deselecting the Mirror box under Settings --> Display and it displays the message :

The selected configuration for displays could not be applied,
required virtual size does not fit available size: requested=(3600, 1080), minimum=(320, 200), maximum=(1920, 1920)
Any hint?

Hi again.

Managed to find a sollution (downloaded latest linux driver from ATI website).

Thanks a lot anyway...
