Xorg Kernel Modesetting setup failed
I have been usinig Ubuntu 11.10 on this machine for a couple days.
P9X79 motherboard, Intel i7-3930K
I booted freebsd and not when I boot Ubuntu 11.10, I do not get a splash. I see some messages on a black background.
(extracted from dmesg)
[ 10.255053] usb 6-1: device not accepting address 8, error -71
[ 10.778727] usb 6-1: device not accepting address 9, error -71
[ 11.302440] usb 6-1: device not accepting address 10, error -71
[ 11.302480] hub 6-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
X does not start. I can login to a console and everything seems OK.
