ubuntu 11.04 doesnt work on Hp Pavillon dv3 Laptop.I tried the beta version of Oneiric Ocelot that too doesnt work.The Displat out doesnt works.Is there a way to sort it out?

What video chip do you use?

it got intel HD graphics(power saving gpu) as well as ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470

The Ubutu 10.10 works fine in that..Only the higher version got the problem.

try adding the boot option:

nomodeset
