11.04 beta 2 does not run on a laptop

Asked by ADR

11.04 beta 2 - not even run LiveCD (hangs on startup. nothing in the console output)
11.04 beta 1 - does not install (says something about the sections)
10/10 update to 11.04 - does not start (loading forever)
10.10 - treated but not all packages were installed when you update (eg no 'source software). startup work environment Unity is what I see - a background image with no panels.

and the console is not supported Ukrainian / Russian (Cyrillic) characters

Notebook HP G62. and even after installing the open drivers (at 10.10) and not the battery ran iksy eats terrible (I think because it uses an ATI graphics card instead of Intel)

Ubuntu 11.04 beta launch

The image shows the radeon driver crashing. It seems to me you are using the evergreen radeon chip family.

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
Did you use a CD to install, if so did you burn the CD slowly and did you make the CD test itself for defects once the boot started?
Did you test your RAM?
