touchpad not working in 12.04
a few days after upgrade to 12.04 the touchpad stopped working. External mouse is working, keybord is working and i can toggle the touchpad on/off (as it appears on the screen)

If you uncheck the option "Disable touchpad while typing" in System Settings, does it help?

Hi! I am living the same experience and in my settings there is no more the tab for unchecking "Disable touchpad while typing" it has just disapeared... I really don't know why?!?
