Touch pad Ubuntu 10.04 on ACER 7730G do not working

Ubuntu 10.04 all updates installed.
Acer Travel Mate 7730G Dual core Dual Hard Disk.
Function+F6 display alternatively on screen icon of active and inactive but in boot situation the touch pad do not work in any way.
Someone know how can i do for this problem ?

Try the following boot options in various combinations:

i8024.reset
and/or
i8024.nomux=1
and/or
irqpoll

These are the ones I always advise for bad touchpads
