Mouse track pad not working

Mouse trackpad on my laptop is not working. When i installed "sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics" it worked after boot but very strangely after booting again it has again stopped working. Ubuntu 20.04 is very buggy. How do i get my mouse track pad back. Please help.

Does the laptop have make and model?
Ubuntu 20.04 isn't very buggy at all and thousands use it with no issue at all.

Can you help with this problem?
