in lenovo x220 cursor jumps all over the place

Asked by wierdlmate@gmail.com

Hi!

Has anybody esle seen this?: When I type in, say, gmail or especially in facebook, I suddenly notice that my cursor is several lines above or below the line I was editing. Also, sometimes links open spontaneously, as if I clicked on them, but I didn't. Any hint on what I should look for to correct this really big problem.

Does it only happen when you run a web browser?

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a

Thanks
