mouse cursor get crazy on ubuntu 10.10 netbook on dell latitude XT2

the mouse cursor start to trip around the screen clicking everywhere.

I'm running ubuntu 10.10 netbook edition on a dell latitude xt2 notebook.

please let me know if some configuration/log file is needed for further analysis.

Sounds like you need the xorg edgers ppa, but its incredibly experimental and may cause issues.

 After the kernel update the problem seem to be solved.

My problem still persists, now the cursor escapes to the right of the screen.
