logitech s510 drivers for ubuntu 10.10

Asked by patrick bradley

My Logitech keyboard and mouse (model S510) work fine but I do not have the zoom facilities etc, which means I'm not getting the best from my equipment. I imagine it's a driver issue but Logitech only has drivers for Windows. Is there any way around this? I'd be grateful. Pat

Thanks for getting back to me but I've managed to solve the problem. Now I
have another issue - I'm running a dual boot system with Windows7, which is
running great but my Ubuntu has no sound. It's not something simple, like a
box not checked in sound manager. It's got me stumped! Any ideas?

Patty

Hi Marco,

Thank you for that.

I have a worse problem now - I'm running a dual boot system with Windows7,
which is running great but my Ubuntu has no sound. It's not something
simple, like a box not checked in sound manager. It's got me stumped! Any
ideas?
